Along the road, we've also decided, that to be a business owner, sometimes you need to be prepared to put your ego aside, and accept that unlike an employee, you don't always get the accolades for hard work. You need to be accountable for your own success, and prepared to follow through to achieve it. You need to have a good relationship with money, and this means having the courage to charge appropriately, and ensure your invoices and accounts are paid. You quite often, are best not being the expert in your "Trade" but rather the expert in business, and being able to delegate or outsource the work, so you can work ON your business.
